City of Scottsdale
A New Neighborhood Park
Valley Rain is proud to announce the completion of Ashler Hills Park, a project funded through the 2019 Bond Election. This 17-acre neighborhood park, located at Ashler Hills Drive and 74th Way, was completed on time, thanks to the dedication and teamwork of our exceptional staff and the City of Scottsdale.
The park boasts a variety of planned elements designed to enhance the community’s outdoor recreational experience, including:
- Open turf play areas for active, recreational use
- A shaded playground, providing a safe and comfortable play space for children
- Restrooms for convenience and accessibility
- Lighted sport courts, including basketball and pickleball courts, catering to various athletic activities
- Walking paths and trails for leisurely strolls or active hikes
- A well-lit parking area with 70 spaces, ensuring ample parking for visitors
This project reflects Valley Rain’s commitment to delivering high-quality public spaces that contribute to the well-being of the Scottsdale community. Working in close collaboration with the City of Scottsdale, we are proud to have brought this valuable asset to life, creating a vibrant space for recreation and community engagement for years to come.
Below is a direct quote from the inspector applauding our Project Superintendent, Rico Uranga (celebrating 12 years with VR!) for such a thorough and great job he did on the project.
“Attached is our punch list from today. Shortest one I’ve done in my career. Congrats”
