Valley Rain is the 2023 recipient of both APRA and ENR awards!
Alamar Community Park was selected as the proud recipient of the 2023 Outstanding Facility Award (Population 25,001 – 100K). In partnership with Avondale and Brookfield Properties, designers and trade partners this park was completed within budget and on time. Alamar Park features include:
- Baseball/Softball and Multi-use fields
- Tennis, Pickleball, and Basketball Courts
- 3 playgrounds
- a fishing lake
- a splash pad
- an amphitheater
- dog parks
- Outdoor Fitness Court
The newly constructed Bell94 Sports Complex received the ENR Award of Merit Sports/Entertainment Award. This year-round park features recreational and sports amenities to accommodate the growing demand for sports fields in the City of Scottsdale. The project team worked through all phases of the CMAR process to protect natural wash areas at the project site and comply with the Section 404 permit requirements. This 37-acre park features:
- Six sports fields for recreational or competitive league play
- Lighting
- Pedestrian pathways
- Sitting areas and spectator viewing locations
- Restrooms
- Parking
- Drainage facilities
- Maintenance building
