Kiwanis Park Irrigation
VR Replaces Entire Irrigation System Without
Closing Kiwanis Park.
Lakes
The Kiwanis Park project included a complete replacement of the irrigation system, including five miles of mainline and a new Central Control system. The existing irrigation system had been built over many phases and was at the end of its usable lifecycle. The irrigation is lake-fed through a wet well and pump station. Valley Rain phased the project to allow park visitors access to recreation areas, while crews advanced quickly through the large project. Valley Rain worked closely with city staff to phase specific areas of the project around special events.
